8/24/2009 Pool Tournament
Welcome Week continued with our first ever Pool Tournament. We had a great turn out full with people playing in the tournament and with people just coming to cheer others on. Everyone played a great game, but resident John Roethlisberger was our winner!! We will definitely have more tournaments in the future! Thanks to everyone who came out!

8/23/2009 Grill & Chill Party
What a great way to kick off our Welcome Week events!! Free burgers, drinks, music, and a chance to meet all your new neighbors while getting a tan or taking a swim...who could ask for a better way to start the semester?? We had an amazing turn out for our first event of the semester and we look forward to all the parties and events to come at UH!! Thanks to everyone for making this event such a success!

5/6/2009 Dead Day Desserts
It was one of the most stressful times of the year, finals week, and UH wanted to give our residents a little "treat" to help with all their studying and cramming. That's how we came up with the idea for Dead Day Desserts; a whole day devoted to providing delicious home-made desserts for all our hard-working residents, right in the middle of finals week. We had a variety of desserts such as cupcakes, rice-crispy treats, cakes, brownies, cookies, fudge bars, and more! The desserts were gone before we knew it! We hope everyone enjoyed it and there will definitely be a repeat of this event next finals week!
4/25/2009 UH's Renewal Crawfish Boil
UH Acadiana hosted its 1st Annual crawfish boil. Not only did we have 500lbs of crawfish by the pool, we also gave away many great prizes throughout the day including a $1500 Visa Gift Card! We had a great turn out and everyone had a blast. Congratulations to Bradley Burkhalter, who was the winner of the $50 Sakura gift card and Courtney Rogers who won the $1500 Renewal Prize! We had a great time hosting the event and wish everyone a safe and exciting summer.
3/18/2009 March B-Pong Tournament
It's the middle of the semester and students are getting restless and stressed but even that didn't stop the great turn out we had for our tournament. With 20 teams participating and great prizes to be won, this was definitely an event you didn't want to miss!
2/18/2009 Mardi Gras B-Pong Tournament
Our February B-Pong Tourney had a little something extra for our residents...we added a little Mardi Gras spirit and of course some delicious king cakes. With a great turn out and fun prizes given throughout the night, our tournament was a great success. Congrats to the winners and we look forward to seeing even more people at our March tournament!
